Limited edition – Nomad IPL

Nomad Indian Pale Lager This beer is going nomad. An India Pale Lager – an IPL, if you will – it transgresses many stylistic boundaries with impunity, exploring and searching for unique flavours without adhering to rigid beer styles. This isn’t your typical lager. No. It is not. We have taken a clean and crisp German lager base and allowed New World hops Cascade, Nelson Sauvin and Citra to shine. With bittering levels at 54 IBUs, this is a lager that packs a punch. Free your mind from any preconceptions and let your taste buds wander into uncharted territory. Short description: session IPL – passion fruit – full mouthfeel Style: IPL Hops: Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Cascade Strength: 5% ABV Bitterness: 54 IBUs Tasting notes Colour/appearance: straw-coloured in the glass. Aroma: full passion fruit nose, underpinned with white grape. Flavour: clean lager finish works as a canvas to show off the rounded hop bitterness and tangerine tang. Dank and fruity with a full mouthfeel. Aftertaste: a lingering rich bitter aftertaste. Food pairings: a fish-friendly beer that’s perfect with a well-seared fillet of hake. Try it with your Friday night Indian take out – it works especially well with a prawn balti or madras, cutting the spices and oils in those dishes and will stand up to the heat. Also perfect with a Moroccan-style spicy roast chicken. Awards: Best by Style Bronze award winner in RateBeer’s Top Beers in the World 2016. Read more. First released: July 2015. Serving temperature: 8 degrees Celsius Availability: Bottles and draught (30L and 50L kegs)
