Where can I find some Kindred Spirit?

Barrel-aged stout from Eight Degrees Brewing

Our Kindred Spirit, the very limited edition stout that we aged in 25-year-old whiskey barrels from the Teeling Whiskey Company, was unleashed upon the world at the St Patrick’s weekend Irish Craft Beer Village. People there seemed to enjoy it and those kegs disappeared rather quickly, but never fear! Some of this stout has been sent off into the world and is available on draught at these fine establishments: Cork: Bierhaus (that’s their pic of the tap below), The Mardyke, Bru Bar, Mad Monk beer festival in Midleton Dublin: WJ Kavanagh, Farrington’s of Temple Bar, Bull and Castle, The Black Sheep We’ve also been saving some Kindred Spirit – there had to be a bit of testing earlier this week – for the annual Franciscan Well Easterfest. That’s kicking off on at 2pm on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March. It may be a little chilly but we’ve got the antidote: at 7%, Kindred Spirit will warm you up from the inside! There’ll also be plenty of other beer to check out, legendary pizzas from the on-site woodfired oven (they always seem to taste even better as the night goes on) and lots of brewers around to cross examine about their latest brew. We’ll be celebrating our second birthday with a few pints so come along and say hi! Thanks to all the people who entered our competition to name this stout. We got some great suggestions, a few hilarious ones and there was a lot of arguments discussion over which we should pick but there could only be one winner and Paul Cassidy is the inspired man who came up with the Kindred Spirit name. A couple of Kindred Spirit reviews: The Beer Nut The Tale of the Ale psssst…if we don’t celebrate our birthday too much this weekend,
