Warrior Irish Red Ale was brewed specially for our 2017 Fanah-Fest. The festival is named after St Fanahan, a warrior monk who is the patron saint of Mitchelstown, which is our brewery hometown. Every warrior monk needs a traditional Irish red ale, especially on his feast day.
Our Warrior Irish Red Ale is not too heavy in terms of ABV but it’s strong to bursting with hops. There’s a decent malty base to balance out the pine and grapefruit Cascade hop flavour.
