Eight Degrees Brewing - Warrior Red AleWarrior Irish Red Ale was brewed specially for our 2017 Fanah-Fest. The festival is named after St Fanahan, a warrior monk who is the patron saint of Mitchelstown, which is our brewery hometown. Every warrior monk needs a traditional Irish red ale, especially on his feast day.

Our Warrior Irish Red Ale is not too heavy in terms of ABV but it’s strong to bursting with hops. There’s a decent malty base to balance out the pine and grapefruit Cascade hop flavour.

Food pairings:
We love this red ale with anything from Galty Valley Food Truck. Slow roast pork in barbecue sauce? Check. The 6oz organic burger? Yep. Falafel with lemon and garlic aioli. Definitely. The essential Galty Valley Good Truck fries? Couldn’t miss that pairing opportunity.
